Almanack61 is maintained in the tradition of the printed trade almanac: a reference volume compiled for the purpose of commercial inquiry, gathering establishments from across the web into a single indexed register.
The almanack is organised into 22 named sections, each corresponding to a recognised sphere of trade. A general section accommodates concerns whose commerce spans multiple categories or resists easy classification. The arrangement follows the conventions of the commercial directory, which has for centuries provided this function for merchants, tradespeople, and the general public alike.
All 830 entries currently held in the register have been submitted by the operators of the listed concerns. Each entry is reviewed before publication, and the almanack reserves the right to decline or remove entries that do not meet basic standards of completeness and accuracy. Submission of a new entry is offered at no charge.
The register is updated on a rolling basis as new submissions are received and processed. Users are encouraged to verify the current standing of any concern directly before entering into a commercial relationship. Almanack61 provides this register as a convenience and makes no representations regarding the suitability of any listed establishment.
Operators wishing to update an existing entry or submit a new concern may use the submission form available throughout the site. The almanack values accuracy and welcomes corrections from the operators of listed concerns.
